Introduction
One thing you can do to help ensure delivery of important program messages, statements and special offers from us, no matter what email system you're using, is to add our email address to your contacts. The address you want to add is bounce@media-trac.com.Another thing you can do is to "whitelist" us. For instructions on how to add LoyaltyTrac (we're the administrator of your customer rewards program) to your whitelist, just select your email provider from the following list:
AOL
- Open an email from us and then click the "This Is Not Spam" button
- Click the "Mail" menu and select "Address Book"
- Wait for the "Address Book" window to pop up, then click the "Add" button
- Wait for the "Address Card for New Contact" window to load
- Paste bounce@media-trac.com into the "Other Email" field
- Make our "From" address (bounce@media-trac.com) the primary email address by checking the appropriate box
- Click "Save"
Apple Mail for OS X
First, if email from bounce@media-trac.com ends up in your "Junk" folder, highlight or open it and click "Not Junk" at the top of your screen.
Then:
- In the "Mail" menus, select "Preferences"
- Go to the "Rules" tab
- Select "Add Rule"
- Give this rule a name, such as "My Rewards Program"
- Create a rule that says "If any of the following conditions are met:
- 'From' 'Contains'" and then paste in bounce@media-trac.com
- From the actions select 'Move message' to mailbox 'Inbox'
- Click "OK"
AT&T
- Open an email message from us to add to your address book
- Click on the "Save Address" link next to the "From Address"
- Check the "Add to Contacts" box and click "Save"
Comcast
- Click on the "Save Address" link at the top of a message from us (it's next to the "From Address")
- For the field titled "First Name," please enter "LoyaltyTrac"
- Click "Save Entry"
Also, most email providers filter out messages they identify as "Spam" into a "Junk" or "Bulk" folder. Comcast's default settings won't even deliver the messages they think are "Spam" to your account, even if they're non-spam emails from a trusted source (even friends or family). Review your "Settings" to ensure you are able to review all messages sent to your Comcast email account.
GMail
- First, if you find email from us in your Gmail spam folder, select our email and click the
"Not Spam" button - Next, from your "Inbox" open an email that you have received from us
- Click on the little down-pointing-triangle-arrow next to "Reply"
- Click "Add [Store Name] to Contacts List"
Hotmail Live, Windows Live and MSN
To ensure messages from specific email addresses are not sent to your "Junk" folder, you can do one of two things:
Recover From "Junk" Email Folder:
- Check the "Junk" folder if you do not see an email from us in your "Inbox"
- Click the "Wait, It's Safe!" link
- This will add bounce@media-trac.com to your "Safe List"
Mark Sender as Safe:
- Open an email from us in your "Inbox"
- Click "Always Show Content From This Sender"
- Our email address will now be added to your list of "Safe Senders"
Microsoft Outlook
- On the "Tools" menu, click "Options"
- On the "Preferences" tab, click "Junk Email"
- On the "Safe Senders" tab, click "Add"
- Add bounce@media-trac.com where it says "Add Address"
- Click "OK"
Mozilla Thunderbird
- First, if you find an email from bounce@media-trac.com in your "Junk" folder, right-click on our email and choose "Mark as Not Junk"
- Next, click the "Address Book" button
- Highlight the "Personal Address Book"
- Click on "New Card"
- In the "Contact" tab of the new card, copy and paste bounce@media-trac.com to the email dialog box
- Click "OK"
- Next, to whitelist your address book, select "Tools" then "Junk Mail Controls" from the drop down menu
- Update the "White Lists" module under the "Settings" tab by selecting "Personal Address Book" from the drop down menu and then check the box next to "Do Not Mark Messages as Junk Mail"
- Click "OK"
Yahoo!
- If you find email from bounce@media-trac.com is going to your "Bulk Folder" open it and click "Not Spam"
- Be sure that the address bounce@media-trac.com is not in your "Blocked Addresses" list. If it is on your "Blocked Addresses" list, select it and click "Remove Block"
Now to create a filter:
- Open your mail and click on "Mail Options" in the upper right hand corner
- Select "Filters" (in the bottom left corner)
- On the Filters page, click "Add"
- Select the "From Header:" rule and add "Contains" and bounce@media-trac.com
- Click the "Choose Folder" pull down menu and select "Inbox"
- Pick the "Add Filter" button (it will now place emails containing bounce@media-trac.com in your Inbox, not your Bulk Folder)
