Performance Loyalty Group Service Reaches Milestone

San Ramon, CAFebruary 25, 2009 – As dealers continue to look for ways to drive loyalty, Performance Loyalty Group says it is seeing its membership explode. In fact, the company announced this week that membership in its customer retention program, LoyaltyTrac, surpassed a new threshold.

Company executives revealed the total membership base has exceeded 5 million consumer members, which they pointed out is the equivalent to 40 percent of all new vehicles sold last year.

Performance Loyalty Group is expecting the consumer membership base to continue to show significant gains. Officials predict that LoyaltyTrac may have more than 6 million members by the end of 2009.

Basically, LoyaltyTrac is designed to help customer marketing for dealers thanks to its tracking of past purchase habits. The DMS-integrated system also can automatically filter these variables on a daily basis. The program can also offer targeted marketing communications to members throughout the ownership life cycle.

Officials assert that the dealers who utilize LoyaltyTrac see increased traffic to service departments. They point out how that increased traffic can create stronger, lasting relationships with customers and a measurable ROI.

On average, Performance Loyalty Group estimated that dealerships have more than 20,000 registered customers through use of LoyaltyTrac.

Michael Gorun, managing partner of Performance Loyalty Group, stressed that customer retention and relationship building is even more important during turbulent economic conditions.

"Dealerships that had the foresight to implement a loyalty and retention offering before the economic downturn are currently seeing month-over-month increases in service department traffic and, in some cases, record revenue — even despite today's tough economic climate," Gorun explained.
